Benefits

The FAO Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year is a comprehensive program covering various aspects of student life. The scholarship will cover application and tuition fees throughout the study period, provide basic books and notes, offer dormitory accommodation, cover subsistence costs, and include health insurance. The funding for these costs is provided by the Hungarian Government, as outlined in the Agreement between FAO and Hungary in 2007. It’s essential to note that the scholarship exclusively covers student costs, and family members are not supported within the frame of this program.

Application and Selection Process:

Important Notes:

  • As the number of scholarships is limited, interested applicants are strongly encouraged to email their applications as soon as possible.
  • Applicants who were not selected in previous years may re-apply to the 2023-2024 Program, submitting the complete dossier by email only.
  • The duration of the scholarship cannot be extended or postponed.
  • The master courses will only start if a sufficient number of applications are received.
  • A Scholarship Study Contract will be signed between the selected student and the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary (MoAH) at the time of the first semester registration.
  • Applicants exploring external funding opportunities for travel costs should do so at their initiative.
